hey the first week of the holidays was pretty fun. . . not really easter is very family orientated and i think i ate about 50 pounds of chocolate, the feeling after was not fun. went and met with our connection and Gosnels Women's Health Service, Narell she was great really nice, she answered all my questions and seemed really interested in what we were doing, unfortunately she still doesn't want guys on the face buts she fine with having them in the background, she gave me brochures and went into heaps of detail, which was so much more then i expected. the company has a great face but there having trouble presenting it the public and I think one goal of ours is to definitely try and publicise this group more to their own community. i think guerilla tactics are required, should be fun.
the building is tucked away and hard to get to making the service practically invisible to the surrounding streets, though the location is prime. on a main road very close to transport and in an area with a lot of residential. on monday were having a meeting and hopefully making some smart objectives about what we can do help and how where going to make this service better.
thats all folks.
can i just say well done with the chocolate my friend, i too did this. biggest well done for being on the ball and having such a fabulous opinion and passion for your non for profit organisation, i think your a realli good worker and when your mind is set to something you do it to your best. Looking forard to seein how your campaign goes, it sounds like a great oppurtunity. lucy
ReplyDeleteI am glad that she still wants the boys to help in some form. To be completely honest I can understand where she is coming from, however, the boys could offer a different perspective! Looking forward to next presentation!
ReplyDeleteOh, and congratulations about all the chocolate! :P
