Second week on the books

The second week is always the worst, after a week of trying to have a break and now getting back to it so that I'm not behind, but holidays are so contagious, all you want to do is sleep and hang out, but i managed to get together twice this week and sort out things for all my assignments.

Tash and I got together and admittedly we didn't do so much work in Tafe we went though all the questions and noted what we were sure of and what needed more work, doing vogue is good for us because its in our comfort zone and we know what were talking about when it comes to what women want, (we both want the lipstick, it's a great colour) just organising together makes doing it seem so much easier.

met up with Ben and we had a quick meeting and went though all the questions that i talked to Narelle about we have a clear view of what where going to be doing, Ben C wasn't there but he did do some SMART objectives for us and Ben is doing a communication audit with the pamphlets and leaflets that I provided as well as with notes from the meeting, i am going to contact Narelle after the holidays and organise another meeting so she can meet Hailee. We will also send her a copy of the communication audit so she can give us some input.

That about all this week hope everyone had a great ANZAC day.
Lest we forget

One week down

hey the first week of the holidays was pretty fun. . . not really easter is very family orientated and i think i ate about 50 pounds of chocolate, the feeling after was not fun. went and met with our connection and Gosnels Women's Health Service, Narell she was great really nice, she answered all my questions and seemed really interested in what we were doing, unfortunately she still doesn't want guys on the face buts she fine with having them in the background, she gave me brochures and went into heaps of detail, which was so much more then i expected. the company has a great face but there having trouble presenting it the public and I think one goal of ours is to definitely  try and publicise this group more to their own community. i think guerilla tactics are required, should be fun.

the building is tucked away and hard to get to making the service practically invisible to the surrounding streets, though the location is prime. on a main road very close to transport and in an area with a lot of residential. on monday were having a meeting and hopefully making some smart objectives about what we can do help and how where going to make this service better.
thats all folks.

week Ten BLog

this week the Keith's groups presented their PowerPoint's to the rest of the class. the event was made with everyone dressing up in business outfit to make every ones demeanor sophisticated.

everyone did really well little bit nervy at the beginning but was still exiting, cant wait to meet up with Narell from Gosnells women's health service so that we can extend relations with the company. everyone did something different which was nice, not having the repetition of similar presentation. it gave an opportunities for each group to show what they had skills at when it came to developing a pitch. we should definitely do it again now that were skilled.

Anna delivered her verdict on our assignments and it wasn't that good, she said basically that we needed to write more and extend each part to a certificate 4 level . . I'm confused. i think now that we know what is needed and how to do what were doing if we do it again it will be easier and all round more organised.

today is rays edit texts test i was sick on Monday so i rescheduled for today. sounds like fun. have to stay till like 5.30 before it starts so ill have lots of time to procrastinate studying.
oddles of good. x

week nine kids

this last week has been a bit of a challenge. i got sick because i slept with the window open, quite pathetic and very painful in the long run tonsillitis hurts i must say. so i was shipped of to Grandma's to be looked after and spent most of the time eat sleeping and eating chicken soup because i couldn't swallow anything else. i found out about milligrams of penicillin people need which was very interesting i think i am officially a tonsillitis expert.

turns out my doctor only gave my 250 ml which is very low so i stayed sick for longer which makes me made because i hate being sick so i doubled my does and felt much better within 24 hours unfortunately i still get blood noses because of the built up pressure in my ears from infection so tomorrow I'm going back to get something done about my ears and start organising to get my tonsils out because they are becoming a real nuisance.

Rhys told me about everything for the non for profit so Ben and Ben and Haylie ill call you and try and organise I'm coming on tuesday if it kills me so I don't miss out.
